Awesome Sound

I attended Laneway on Saturday. Left at seven (tired and old, remember), but saw some good performances. Best of the lot was Geoffrey O’Connor. I wasn’t really expecting that, but his 80s influenced synthpop and shady floorshow styled set were simply spectacular. I didn’t quite realise he was half as geeky as he actually is until I saw the man perform, but somehow it all worked. Go and see him if you can.
